Day Four - Free Time and Farewell
Saturday was an open day. It was a chance for everyone to get out on their own and explore Key West, snorkle, swim, drive or work on the donated kegs from Budweiser.
We got together early in the day and dragged all the left over food down to the Navigator Lounge for one last time. From here we would all part for the day and do whatever it was we wanted to do.
That evening we convoyed down the Hurricane Joes for some excellent and less than excellent service. Like ever place else on the economy it was a waiting game when it came to chow. But it was again, well worth the wait.
After we left Hurricane Joes we went to the Hickory House for desserts and another beautiful sunset.

We all had a great time. I especially wanted to thank Wes Guidry, Richard Whitt and Jerry Rhyne for all the work the put into making this reunion the best yet.
I also want to thank all of those HAWK Vets who took the time and attended this reunion. We met old friends and made new ones. It was a truly memorable experience and I honestly believe that everyone who attended this time is looking forward to doing it again.
In the meantime I want each of you to contact your old Army buddies and convince them to join us for the next one.
